German Court against Sunday shopping in Berlin

Salespeople, trade unions and churches are happy: Starting next year, shops in Berlin will not be allowed any more to open up every Sunday in December. The Bundesverfassungsgericht, highest court in Germany, put a stop to this.
I'm quite happy with the workers. We can do our shopping during the week, can't we?
Here's more news on the decision, including a video. And here's what ver.di said.

Sunday shopping is very convenient, but from a family point of view it's not that good. Consumers will adapt and shop at other times.
